Saradnja sa Klinikom iz Italije u oblasti dječije kardiohirurhije

Predstavnici Klinike za kardiohirurgiju „G.Pasquiucci“ iz Masse i Fondacije Gabriele Monesterio iz italijanske regije Toskana posjetili su Bosnu i Hercegovinu i tom prilikom razgovarali sa predstavnicima Federalnog ministarstva zdravstva, kao i tri klinička centra iz Federacije BiH, o mogućnostima uspostavljanja saradnje u oblasti dječije kardiohirurgije.
Tokom razgovora sa federalnim ministrom zdravstva prim. dr Safetom Omerovićem dogovoreno je da predstavnici italijanske klinike i Federalnog ministarstva zdravstva izrade prijedlog projekta koji kroz kontinuiranu edukaciju domaćih ljekara ima za cilj uspostavu referalnog Centra za dječiju kardiohirurgiju u Sarajevu, ali i jačanja dijagnostičkih procedura, odnosno fetalne dijagnostike srčanih malformacija u kliničkim centrima u Sarajevu, Tuzli i Mostaru.
Projekt bi trebao biti dugoročan i trajao bi četiri do pet godina koliko je neophodno da Centar za dječiju kardiohirurgiju u Sarajevu počne funkcionisati samostalno. Krajnja namjera je da taj Centar postane regionalni referalni centar koji bi blisko sarađivao sa Klinikom iz Masse koja je jedna od najboljih klinika za dječiju kardiohirurgiju u Evropi.
Predstavnici Klinike „G.Pasquiucci“ tokom svog boravka u BiH su obišli tri klinička centra i i razgovarali sa rukovodiocima ovih ustanova koji su iskazali spremnost sudjelovanja u ovom projektu.
